Non Flowers (2021)

Non Flowers are a new type of pseudo pollen carrier designed according to the perception of pollinators. These new typologies of synthetic flowers are conceived to improve interspecies collaboration in greenhouses for future food production. The research was initiated by Dr Shannon Olsson and her team at NCBS. The prototypes illustrated on this page are based on fractal geometries, and will be the first models tested at the lab.
